The Nature of Prophethood * |
|
In Islam, extremism in any form is generally discouraged. This includes going to the extreme of revering prophets to the point of deification. The Qur'an refers to the Islamic view that contradicts the concept of the existence of a half-man, half-God kind of prophet.
Islam also refuses the extreme on the other end of the reverence spectrum in which prophets are accused of committing cardinal sins that affect their faith or moral character.

Angels carry out God’s commandments in nature and the universe.
